Big World Festival is a new world music festival in Folkestone, running 1–4 October 2026, produced by Shapeshifter Productions. The inaugural festival will feature participatory events and world-class performances from artists including Suntou Susso, Andrew Cronshaw, Tigran Aleksanyan, Baka Beyond, Alfredo Martin Espindola and the London Bulgarian Choir.
Showcasing diverse musical traditions and instruments such as kora, tabla, duduk, marimba, djembe, violin and bandoneon, the festival aims to connect people, celebrate culture and strengthen community through music.
